Since The Binder is being sold as the "continuity" coach, rebuilding time?

if Alleva believes that LSU is so close to being elite that continuity was THAT important, we expect LSU to be rolling in 2017, right? playoffs and an SEC title by 2018 at the latest?

if we are supposed to give O an entire recruiting cycle, why does continuity even matter?

My favorite part about the continuity bit is that he was trying to get Miles to change for years.

Probably not. Real coaches have iPads and laptops

Anything less than 10-2 and a New Year's Six Bowl in Year 1 should be considered a collosal failure. Otherwise why did we fire Les if we're cool with 8-4 and the Liberty Bowl?

I'm interested in the expectations that Alleva will have for the team. Next year looks like a rebuilding year, but the year after that we should compete for a title right?

This is seriously the perfect storm to fail too. The coveted 2014 class is halfway out the door, and we get to go to Oxford, Ttown, Knoxville, Gainesville, and Starkville in ONE season next year.

it's like one of those movies where the guy gives a briefcase full of stacks of blank paper with a single $100 on top of each stack

That's what I said.

LSU had a top 3 class last year that O help recruit.

He should get 3 years to get to Atlanta. Him and Joe are tied with the noose now.

Sure why not. This isn't a rebuild.

The least the haters can do is give him a full season before they crucify him.

i'm going to try to hammer home expectations in a day or 2

gotta let the rantards/positigers pull that "ok i've had time to think about it and i've calmed down. I LOVE LSU AND LES MILES" move like we'd see after terrible losses under Les

like i said earlier. it's not that i want him to fail. i just know he's going to fail

i think he'll keep Aranda and get Kiffin and we'll have 3 regular season losses next year and he'll get a pass b/c the schedule will be tough

then aranda/kiffin will bolt and we will be frickED

It all depends on Aranda. If both coordinators aren't sterling and amazing, we will struggle. At least with Miles, he could coach the power run game extremely well. That it was limited by the fact we couldn't throw mitigated its effectiveness.

So do I. I think he will be worse than Miles, record-wise.
