I agree they will match. Penn St. has a ton of money and one of, if not the biggest, alumni in the country.
Shoop gave them the #2 defense in the country this year and they need him to be the rock in their rebuilding process.
I see this as a contractual game for him and I don't blame him for it.

He might know its a better job, but if he makes the same amount of money and gets to stay where he and his wife are from, I don't see him leaving.

I've seen it mentioned in the article and on here by a few posters that he is interested in the job. Meaning he or his family aren't that happy there.
