So no need to even look retarded and mention his name.

LSU doesnt want him and he wouldn't come if they did.

I'm not saying that LSU wants him, and I'm not saying that he would want to come if offered.

I'm just posting here that I'm sick of seeing people say that Shaw runs the same offense as Les. NOBODY ran that pile of crap that Cam and Les spit out. Just because Stanford would line up in the I formation doesn't mean that they ran the toss dive 3 straight plays from the 25 yard line following a turnover.

Go look at McCaffery's receiving stats compared to Fournette's. It's not the same offense.

Exactly. Stanford's I formation is brute force, deception & art.

And that team is garbage down deep. Facade. WATCH their games. The defenses that are awesome in the Pack 12 are few and far between

I think he's a power set with a lot of nuance, BUT Shaw has some Schembechler/Miles stubborn conservative idiot in him. It's as if he can't win with his game, then his team doesn't deserve to win. You don't hear that talk right now due to their ranking early in the season, but Shaw has pulled that act in some games the last few years.

I agree, he would be a fool to coach SEC. Much easier to get a ticket to the show where he is. Same for Urban.

That quote seems to be the theme of a lot of other LSU fans.

Our fan base would rather Orgeron be the HC if he has a good interim run. They don't want a proven guy who has won at Stanford with academic restrictions.

If anyone isn't familiar with Shaw, please go watch their Rose Bowl against Michigan State from a couple of years back. IT IS our offense and just as stubborn.

Hell I would love to play in a Rose Bowl to find out what our offense would be like under him.

Stanford wouldnt run play action on 3rd and 25 either like I've seen Cam or Les do.

Stanford actually throws to the RB a lot too.

They dont just use the RB to run into 10 man in the box.

I would rather LSU go after Mike Bloomgren (Shaw's OC) instead of Shaw, if LSU goes for an offensive guy. Which I'm opposed to; I prefer D coaches as head coaches.

Shaw has a damn good shot to get this job. Fact. I am not a fan of it either, but I trust the TAF employee I know very well. She's always right.
