not sure of why the down votes.. If Briles were to come we'd prob win it all, hes that successful.. he has totally rebuilt two programs into powers.. Sark, meh, hes good, but Im not so sure hes the right guy. plus he will get the Bama OC job..

I couldnt agree more about us being the laughing stock of the SEC after hiring O.. it still amazes me to this day..

Only Briles would strike fear in the rest of the conference.

agree 100%

He built Houston, then went to 0-10 Baylor and got them in the Fiesta Bowl for crying out loud.. He is it.. period..

Contact the PR dept on campus and have them draw up a plan for when Briles is hired and execute the Positive PR campaign.

Because when you start winning in the Fall all that shite goes away..

Problem is Briles would be the reason for the success, he would become more powerful than O..

I consider the off the field issues a wash, from a "baggage" standpoint - I'm not making qualitative assessments of the situation, merely assessing the conduct of each, before, during and after his respective scandal -

Briles was Complacent in covering up multiple rape allegations by a number of his players. He will never coach in CFB again.

All of this. I would have a hard time cheering for a program that would hire Briles. In the best case scenario he ignored multiple allegations of sexual assault. In the worst he helped cover them up. Neither is acceptable. Sham on LSU if they even consider him.

Bring on Briles or Canada tomorrow. Ready to get this over. I think the fact that we announced the meeting with Canada tomorrow says we are ready to hire sooner than that deadline of waiting until after bowl season.

That shows me we were clearly waiting for Lane. Glad that is over now. Let's make this hire asap.

Someone else said it above, Briles is the one true "Fear Factor" hire. I would be so jacked to watch him attack SEC defenses in Tiger Stadium. Briles has a little stank on him but the media always loves and forgives a winner and it would be quickly forgotten. The safest guy on staff is the guy who needs to repair his imagine. Please Coach O, all I want for Xmas is my two front seats (to watch Briles' O)

No freaking question. I'll take Canada and be content, but if i could just go grab an OC, it'd be Briles Sr with no question.
