I'm the pilot of that airplane, no meeting with Herman unfortunately. I was joking with my co-pilot that we would probably make it on tigerdroppings.

BTW planes to track are N511TA and N599TA. Those are Acadians planes with the LSU paint scheme that TAF uses. There's a citation they use as well out of Lafayette but I can't remember the tail.

But then flying to the Bahamas. It might just be a coincidence but LSU basketball plays at 11:00 AM in the Bahamas tomorrow morning

Omg... There's a THIRD LSU plane?? We're all such fools. This is the secret plane where all the sensitive dealings get made.

Does this secret plane carry the secret offensive playbook?

N511TA is a prop. Do you think they'd use that? No sarcasm; serious question.

Yes. I used to fly King airs for Acadian and we flew TAF people all the time. They wouldn't paint it purple and gold unless LSU used it.

I have flown in a 200. Great plane, but not nearly as fast as a Citation or a Lear, as I know you know. I should've worded my question differently. Do you think they would use a prop this late in the coaching search? The whole "time is of the essence " ideology.

As much as I want it to be, there's now way that a 3 hour Piper Cherokee flight from BTR-TLH is from the LSU camp. Too small and too long.

You may lose 10 minutes on a flight from BTR-Houston. There really isn't much of a difference unless you're flying for more then an hour. The Lear costs a lot more per hour BTW, almost double the price of the king air.

I should add that right now TAF is probably using other charter operators, I think TAF has enough sense to not pull into Tallahassee in an LSU jet. They are very aware of the public interests in this and will go to great lengths to do it privately.
