I'm definitely out on Drunk Sark. Hopefully O is smarter than to risk his job on a recovering alcoholic. But we'll see

There's a reason he is possibly not being offered the job at Alabama.

Exactly. Would be a huge red flag. And I've always like Sark way more than Kiffin.

Well that's scary. We should be asking ourselves WHY.

The message board rumor around Bama sites is that Sark had a relapse after the game in Atlanta. Who knows how accurate that report is?

Being a drinking man didn't seem to affect Bear Bryant's ability to coach. Give him the keys to the Ferrari - it's insured.

The rumor since yesterday was he had a relapse. Regardless of jobs I hope that not true. Alcohol has ruined a lot of men.

There are many words I would use to describe our offense. Ferrari is not one of them.

Lol we need to take care giving the keys to Sark? We already gave the keys to O.

Sark can only help right the ship. Drunk or stone cold sober.

What happens when he goes to his first crawfish boil and someone offers him a frosty cold one?

If the rumors are true, Saban might be in a dilemma. Sark will probably have countless offers on the table to be OC. Does he let him go, or give him yet another chance there?

You've got to admit. Its pretty funny that a rumor comes our that Bama wont hire Sark because of drinking, then immediately another rumor comes out that he is in play at LSU.

I mean thats funny right?

What a shite show...

One thing worth considering is that O is in recovery himself. Could be good to have an accountability force on a daily basis.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I have a friend who is was an alcoholic and he can spot the signs a mile away. O would know if alcohol would be a problem so I would think that would be beneficial to Sark.

i asked a bama buddy what happened with sark and he also said drinking. if true the guy needs help and probably doesn't need to be in high pressure job like offensive coordinator in the sec.

It wouldn't shock me if Sark stayed away from football for a couple of years. I really hope he can get the help he needs. I think he is a damn good coach, he just needs help

O is a recovering alcoholic himself.
