Doesn't seem like they will ever get rid of him but he does blow.

Saban wouldn't be half the coach in the NFL as he is in college. The deck wouldn't be overwhelmingly stacked in his favor every year.

He'd be facing off against teams with better or evenly matched rosters.

If you fire him, then where is he going to steal his vicodin from?

Saban is an average coach in the NFL. Saban wins because he stacks talent. He is the best recruiter with the help of the REC. He can't do that in the NFL. You actually have to be a good coach in the NFL to succeed.

Saban could only wish he could coach to level of Sean Payton and Sean is not the best.

I have a hard time believing that Rex Ryan is a better coach than Nick but he doesn't seem to hurt for NFL jobs.
