I was at the LSU Basketball game when Saban was announced to be the LSU Football coach.

He walked right by us went to the center of the court and got a decent applause.

I had no idea this dude would be the 2nd coming of Bear Bryant

At least use the annual Saban rumor on a plausible situation.

He's going to make Bear Bryant look like Les Miles by the time he retires.

I agree. He will most likely coach to age 90 prolonging this nightmare for Lsu fans everywhere

He has total control over the university of Alabama and every decision that goes through his program. He'll be making around 10 million a year and has a program that's fully built, he'd be a complete fool to even consider it.

But he's failed, failed in his only stint at the highest level of football. Meanwhile Pete Carroll is a world champion. That has to eat at him.

Al Michaels said anytime there is an NFL opening 3 names come up. Gruden, Saban and Harbaugh. He dismissed all three as very unlikely then backtracked a little on Gruden.

ETA: somehow autocorrect changed Gruden'S name to grid engineer. Which he may or may not be.

Let it go man. Saban isn't going to leave Bama. It's a completely different situation than it was 12 (or however many) years ago.

Not as much as it eats at LSU fans, apparently.

"First the Rams will look to the usual names: Jon Gruden, who likes his job as an analyst; Jim Harbaugh, who is only in his second year at Michigan; Nick Saban, who hasn't shown any interest in leaving Alabama"

Or something of the sort.

Basically they were listing people who the Rams might want, but explained why it won't be any of them.
