So I've noticed that Napier and Sark (two quality control coaches for saban) are 2 of the 3 candidates for OC for the crimson tampon. However, I've noticed, it seems that saban is trying to start a little farm system of coaches that he is going to be able to pluck from and put them into his staff. And worse yet, succeed.

This is a genius idea (and I understand promoting from within is not some far-out new philosophy). It seems like he is finding people who are genuinely knowledgeable of football and the semantics and saban grooms them to begin working for him in a larger capacity once one leaves.

What's TD think of Saban's coaching farm system?

Edit: grammar

LSU needs to be adapting to the bama shadow staff. However, F. King is a bitch and the TAF doesn't have the proper balls to run things correctly.

Napier coaches WRs and recruits his arse off. He's not a quality control coach.

Billy Napier caught the wrath of Dabo Swinney's terrible coaching decisions in '09. He was only 30 years old

It's pretty smart. Saban knows that the collection of human capital all adds up.

This administration has enough trouble hiring one coach.

They have more than that. Each position coach has his own "analyst" that help with film, recruiting, etc. They are all football people. Then there are ga's, interns, and consultants. They are, by far, the largest college football organization in the country. It's funny, but LSU's manpower pales in comparison. We have quality, but nowhere near the quantity.

Not sure why anyone would downvote your statement?
I think you are right on. That's exactly what he is doing and others will now try and follow.
Saban is always a step ahead now
