Saban vs. Petrino.....

Who is the biggest ho? They are both slimy as hell and how could any parent trust their kid to play for them. Anyway, I did not know all about the full Petrino history/reputation until now....he might have Saban beat! Don't see either one around by 2011...

Saban, definitely... His name is now a term for hosing down teams, lying, quitting, etc. ESPN said Petrino "sabaned".... classic.
But, really, they're both liars and quitters. Saban took a decent Dolphins team and turned them into an 0-13 worst ever.

Say what you want Saban finished the year. Saban just admitted he wanted to return to the college game. Petrino bolted when things got tough. I don't think Petrino's leaving had much to do with wanting to return to the college game as much as it was that he couldn't man up and get through a tough time in Atlanta's franchise. Saban didn't interview for jobs when the coach hadn't been fired yet.

I am not sure WHICH is worse, but I do know that every commentary bout Petrino references Saban's ethics, as in him setting the bar for lack of same. To me, the apparent "fact" that Saban was sending out strong feelers for the LSU job this last month tells you what kind of whore he really is: at the time, he had been at Bama less than a year. Petrino is a close second based on his comments to Falcons' ownership the nite before. His sending a farewell note to his former players is a classic Saban move. Sabanized is the perfect word.

The only thing Blank (or the Falcons organization) has done is ask for a return of bonus money from Vick since he is unable to complete the terms of his contract.
The Federal government brought the charges and has Vick in jail. The NFL is the one who suspended him.
If Vick hadn't been such a dumbass, none of this would have happened, so the initial blame falls on him, but I don't see how any blame can be laid at the feet of anyone in the Falcons organization.
