was about to say the same thing, I have a friend who just got offered a new teaching job at a college and they told him not to tell anyone what his job is until they officially announce it. If some random teacher has to keep secrecy than I would imagine that the HC of one of the largest football programs in the country would have the same secrecy about his contract negotiations
While I don't know the inner workings of this stuff, it make sense they don't want people spreading the news about a new hire until all of the ts are crossed the is are dotted and he signs on the dotted line.
Saban wouldn't spill the beans to some high school kid.
