Great analysis there chief. It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the most we see of him is pressers and games were we are fricking up all the time?

Saban never looked happy at LSU either.

People who say he is miserable in Tuscaloosa are just talking shite. Unless of course they know Nick Saban personally.

That had nothing to do with LSU though, he is allergic to Zatarans and Tony's seasoning and almost died at a crawfish boil. He went into anaphylactic shock. Thank God it was an Alumni Crawfish boil and there were several doctors there or he would have died for sure. It is hard to believe that LSU would save his life like that and then he would turn his back on them and I think that is where all of the hate is coming from.

That is true for sure. I have seen a picture of it taken by a BAMA fan.

Amazing atmosphere?!

If lame mixed with frantic pom=pom shaking is amazing, then yes. Bama has an amazing atmosphere.

Saban will never leave. I heard that they had the Bear's body exhumed, then cremated it and have it tucked away safely. All new coaches, Saban included, now have to snort a line of the Bear as part of their "initiation" as new head coach. Now, he's a walking, talking Bear zombie.

Saban is a self centered prick who is sorry he ever left Louisiana. He will go to West Virginia, and I will love every minute of it

"I guess I have to say it," Saban said. "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."........

"He told us a couple weeks ago that he's proud to be a Dolphin and he's going to be sticking around," Dolphins quarterback Joey Harrington said. "So I take him at his word. I've taken him at his word ever since I came here. He's one of the reasons why I decided to come to Miami. And so, if he tells us he's going to say, I trust him. But on the other hand, there's a lot of job offers out there and he's a tremendous coach."

---I thought he was happy at Miami too..... hmmm

Eric Smith from Florida. Saban will be at Alabama for a long time and everyone knows it. 3 years and we will be back atop the SEC.

Yes, you're right. So don't come back for three years. Idiot. It's like driving around in your BMW and having some idiot stop you so he can show you the new hubcaps he got from autozone for his ford tempo.

Smith says he plans to announce his decision on Signing Day. "I think I'll have a press conference at my school," "I want to find a school that has a good family atmosphere and a place where I can play early. I also want to find a school with a good forensics program."

that last line confirms he'll fit in great at bama, they live in the past and worship dead people

I think he will turn the Tide, and if he can;t do it we are destined to be SMU for eternity. If he can't turn us around it will not happen.

Didn't you catch a lot of grief on your own board when you posted here about your doctor connection and the rumor that Saban was putting out feelers to LSU BOS guys? Or was that another user named BamaScoop?

I thought the forensics things was a Tennessee reference, dont they have that "body farm" place that is always on tv.

In ranking situations in which you can take a college coach at his word, this is the order, from least honest to most honest:
1) when talking to a recruit
2) when holding a press conference
3) when speaking at a banquet
4) when talking to his AD
5) when talking to his wife
6) when talking to his players
7) when talking to his agent
