If he left this year he could have made a triumphant return to BR with a heros welcome.
No rebuilding job required here.

Well, according to some..he may make a triumphant return here anyway!

STRONG talk about mutual interest by several LSU people and Saban about the opening here.

yes, strong talk from people on tigerdroppings.com.

If he did return, would Bama fans (and the media) say he was winning with Miles' players? And would LSU fans say he wasnt?

The talk is coming from radio talk show host now who "sometimes" can be a bit more trustworthy than posters

Radio guy has confirmed there was communication between LSU and Saban (or his agent)and there is some mutual interest in possibly bringing him back to LSU. Take it for what its worth but that is the talk

yet, that's still several notches above bammers who would commit an act of necrophylia with the bear's corpse just to have bama be relevant again.

If Saban returned to LSU, would bama fans show the same lack of class as LSU fans did when he went to Bama? I doubt it, you people are one of a kind!

Yup. I just confirmed it. Done deal. In principle of course. Nothing to be signed until next week, and no idea who coaches the bowl.

we'd give you our Saban is a Douche shirts, though the colors probably wouldn't work for you. No matter what, Saban is a douche.

Didnt Alabama fans throw whiskey bottles at Georgia players at the end of that game?

Glad to hear Saban is coming back to the Tigers.

Prefer Saban to coach our bowl game myself.

Besides, think how being the coach of the first NFL team to go oh-fer the season and having another shot at coaching Ricky Williams would have looked on his resume!

lack of creativity doesn't equal classy

you know you hated Fran with ever fiber of your soul for leaving and you probably popped a cork on some Miller High Life when he got the ax at A&M
