Anyone think Greeny, Bayless, and Herbie (hell even ESPN for covering for Herbie) will say they were WRONG?

No chance in hell. You'll hear about how little integrity Rich Rod has, but nothing about Les Miles staying at LSU.

If this winds up actually happening, it'll be a shockingly good hire. Congrats to Michigan.

Yes! I can't believe this. I can't wait to see the spread offense at Michigan

LSU fans, I'm glad you guys can focus on kicking Buckeye arse now!

So when does Mallet put in to transfer? This is a worse fit than Leak with Meyer

Shaun King did just fine at Tulane with RR and he did it with little to no option.

UM admin on the board I've been reading says that Les was supposed to meet with Bill Martin and Coleman on Thursday, but Les scratched it because he didn't think they could meet without him being seen.

Maybe Bill Martin and company weren't in over their heads after all. Rodriguez is a great football coach.

I agree that he's a great coach. Hopefully that lost to Pitt doesn't leave any lasting damage. He looked so devastated after that loss that it struck me watching the after game press conference.

Easier path to the BCS championship at UM than WV.

I disagree. Even this year, with the Big Ten having a relatively down year, it is a stronger conference than the Big East.

Beat Ohio st. and win the "suck 10" and go to the rose bowl or play for the national championship. At WV they had to win the "big least" and get a lot of help to make it.

Winning the Big East is easier than winning the Big Ten. There is no Ohio State or Jim Tressel in the Big East. That alone is a bigger obstacle than anything he would have had to face at WVU.

This year really proved that to RR. He saw Ohio back into the game he should have been in.

I don't really see how this year proved that to him. This year would have been a perfect example of why it's easier in the Big East. He was a lead pipe cinch to go the NC game until the upset loss to Pitt, his second. At 11-1, and with Ohio State also 11-1, he would have been in, and OSU would have been out if both WVU and Mizzou had won on Dec. 1st.

michigan is a top 5 job in the country, that's why RR is coming and leaving his alma mater.

tradition is everything in CFB

Congratulations on the hire!
Well, Miles didn't leave for his alma mater. Does that make LSU a top 4 job?
