Does anyone think that maybe the reason we're having so much trouble is because no one has confidence in Miles? They may think he'll be gone in a year or two and don't want to take that chance. He's under the most scrutiny he's ever been right now and if we're being honest with ourselves how much confidence do you have that he'll turn this thing around?

I don't know, but this coaching search is a clown show. My confidence is pretty low, and I hope I am wrong.

This line of thought has never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever been brought forward to TD before. You are a visionary. I am in awe.

If Miles hires the right DC and actually get out of Cam's way, I have a lot of confidence in Miles playing CEO..

let's just wait until the hire is made, before we jump to conclusions.

It's hilarious how people get so mad if something is repeated. News flash dip shite there are very few truly original thoughts that ever happen on this site so calm down. Get a life and read something besides tigerdroppings

probably because pendagast (sp), and shoop are no longer in the running, but nobody knows why, so they assume it's because they don't want to work for miles.

STFU....F'ing ignorant. The DC at LSU is basically his own boss. Miles has so little involvement in the D it isn't funny.

I know that whenever I have to make an important hire at my job...I mean a hire that will have meaningful, long-term impacts on the success of my company and my own personal career...I try to do it in 10 days or less.

Ergo, Les Miles is a clown for taking so long.

What?

What does you you're hiring timeline have to do with CLM hiring a DC?

So, if I'm reading your post correctly your decision-making criteria seems to be time rather than quality.

Fortunately for CLM and LSU college football operates a little differently then day-to-day business for profit. College football happens to be in the off-season and ina recruiting dead period; therefore, there is little more flexibility when it comes to making decisions on the hiring process

Why do our fans need to know what's happening before it happens? Why can't we wait to see who the new DC is before bitching? Seems like such a waste of energy.

I think the ignorant one is you sir. Chavis had a problem with his tenure being tied to Miles being there so you don't think others would as well? The DC is his own boss? Are you serious Clark? Normally I would agree to take your time making this decision but I our case we needn't haste. There are viable candidates available and we're missing on them and I believe it's more because they don't want to be associated with Miles than anything. Sad but true.

Would you want to coach for this fanbase?

Because Mike Leach and James "Rape" Franklin are definitely better to be associated with than Miles...

I love how there are so many theories why we can't find a DC. All guesses mind you. No one knows why. All this guessing is getting old. I want to know as bad as everyone else. It's like I am addicted to crack, I am on here all the time scrounging for any information. We will find out when they tell us
