He's not going to set the world on fire recruiting at Arkansas, but he is a very capable recruiter and will have a NFL-scheme, well coached defense at Fayetteville.

He was the head coach at Miami when all their junk was going on with the crazy booster. However, most programs reach out to the NCAA to get an all clear before making a hire. If they get all clear on Shannon, then I would consider it a good hire.
