Rand Getlin from Yahoo Sports reporting Orgeron to Alabama

Hearing Ed Orgeron may be the new DL coach at #Alabama. Nothing definitive yet, but source says it'll happen "unless they hit a snag".

Alabama is invincible when it comes to NCAA violations, there's no harm in hiring Orgeron. Knew this was coming when Kiffin was brought on board. If Smart leaves, that'll just pave the way for Kiffin Sr, althought I seriously doubt that would happen.

And you know Les wants him bad? What's the basis for that? I imagine Chief might not want Orgeron. People seem to be forgetting the past history there with Chief, Kiffin, and Orgeron.

Ed O is an outstanding hire
I understand piling on the idea of him as a head coach....but why do some rantards think this is somehow a bad thing for Bama?
He's probably the best recruiting-assistant coach in the nation....even if he is below average at actual COACHING of devensive lineman, its still an outstanding hire.
Everything doesn't have to be a flame over here..
