Question for Ensminger supporters???

What changed from last yr at this time, to this year?
Ensminger got demoted at the end of last season, what did he do this yr to warrant a promotion?

I’m with you in this one. Even if there were any E for OC supporters on this board they wouldn’t admit for fear of the backlash from other posters.

I've seen no one say he is their first choice, but there are a few posters who think it is not a bad idea. I would call those people 'supporters'.

May not get many comments, not sure of any Steve E supporters, not even his family for this promotion.

They hide out at moments like this, then when we win 1 game or look decent in the spring game, they will be out in droves. I've seen this play out before.

I am not really against ensminger. I think he can probably do a good job. He has been a great coach for us so I support him.
What I am against, and I know I'm not alone, is that this isn't what Ed O sold to get the job. This isn't going to be better than anything Miles could have done.
To our knowledge, it's not like ensminger has even lobbied for the job. He isn't hungry for it. He is just stepping up, like he did when Cam was fired, for the good of the team.
This reeks of settling, which we did with O, with the understanding that we wouldn't settle anywhere else. Not sure how the staff and admin can think this is going to go over well. It is literally championship or bust now. O has put himself in this position and feel the fanbase should and will react accordingly if we can't make that happen
I am about as big of a coach supporter as you will find on this board. But O has made the mistakes that his opposers feared when hired with quickness. I can't have sympathy
