I could totally see it. Wasn't one of the reasons he left FSU because of bad blood with Jimbo?

What better place to stick a finger in a Seminole eye?

If he gets a head coaching gig, then ok. But reports are that Kirby does not want him at UGA & I don't know that he wants to live with Saban's rules

I bet he goes if he does not get a HC job

Everything I've seen says he can't retain him, not that he doesn't want him.

And it's been reported he's not following Richt and Randy Shannon might be Miami's next DC.

I doubt Miami can afford him.

I'm curious if UM told Richt they would put more cash into the program.

A former HC coming back as a coordinator? That sounds awkward.

No, he isn't. His numbers as a DC are in the upper echelon of college DCs.

He won the Broyles award and had top 10 defenses even as things declined under Coker. I'd be fascinated to see examples of what makes him terrible.

Who can afford Pruitt and wants him at this point?

At the moment, its like Bama or HC job.

Pruitt's next destination will solely depend on who bama wants. If they want him, he'll go home. If they don't and your AD will let him stay, he'll stay. Other than that, he could end up as a DC at auburn, mich, sc, miami, so cal, really just about anywhere, or he could get a smaller school HC offer even.

I think the chances of him going to miami as a DC are really small though. I don't think he and Richt are great friends. Richt had to kick him out of his own house.

Micheal Barrow makes a lot of sense as def. coordinator. Former Miami star, shares Richt's Christian beliefs, and he would be respected by the players for his NFL experience.

Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber. Shannon as a head coach was bad. Him as a DC was very very good. But you don't deserve him from the sounds of it.

jim leavitt would easily be the best choice if pruitt is off the table and may be the better choice anyway.

Miami was going to hire Pruitt, but he flunked the "asparagus" question on the application.

More than likely Bama. Don't see Pruitt doing the Miami thing. One of the reasons he left FSU was to get back closer to home. I think he has a couple kids up around Fyffe or the Rainesville area.
It all depends on Saban. If Saban wants him, he gets him.
