Which is why talking up an NFL coach is the height of stupidity. The Cowboys DC and the Seahawks DC will be open soon. NFL coaches still in the playoffs are not going to commit to Miles, until our most realistic candidates are locked up

Sorry, I thought you were talking a Zook move, not Chief.
As far as being sure it's an NFL DC, I'm not saying it won't be or couldn't be, only that if it is it's not a done deal yet - or it would be announced.
But I feel pretty confident that a current DC in the playoff's won't be coming to LSU. If that happens I'll be floored.

Another thing...Les Miles lies...a lot. About injuries, about who may play, who's looking good in practice, about all kinds of things.
Not saying this to trash him, simply acknowledging this info the search is going to be much longer may be bogus.

Well, NV said he's been a DC in both the NFL and College right? So that does narrow it down a bit, I have two names that come to mind, I wont say them....but either one would be pretty exciting.
