No one knows anything. Still speculation and I'm losing interest in following the search.

What would be wrong with making sure the correct person is hired? The fact that YOU can't say we have a DC?

We can't handle that. That's basically 2 weeks. All of our boards will be unbearable. That said, no one knows a fricking thing and its obvious. All the paysites would die to be first to know/first to let it out and they have zilch. They're no further along than we are.

Football scoop reporter also said pendergast wouldve made no sense at lsu. Also said he doesnt sense any urgency from lsu...all about finding the right fit from lengthy list of candidates.

why is that? imo, a dumpster fire would be if les made a rush hire, and ended up getting the wrong guy. I don't see any reason to rush the hire, especially one as important as this.

There's not an infinite number of possible DC candidates. What's up with this? I'm all for finding the right guy but this seems a little off to me.

Les seems to obviously have a person, but he's still coaching, and that can only mean one thing.

I agree with this. I guess you have to weigh the positives vs negatives. Yes you want to the right guy that is most important. But you also want to get it done as quick as possible so their are no unanswered questions. The potential problem is as long as this drags out and LSU can draw as much or more interest than any team in the country. You would think it would be easier to find the right fit. So does this mean Les and LSU are being handcuffed for reasons unknown to any of us? Not trying to go negative here, but the longer this drags out opens it up to a lot of questions.

Might actually be the Monday before signing day since we are waiting for the NFL to finish.
The DC of the Super Bowl Champs already made a deal with Alleva and Miles
90% Done Deal and 90% that Miles and Alleva know that Chavis quit too ....
