Gary Patterson, then Mullen. No on Pelini. I would rather a coach from a smaller school than Pelini. Was not a huge fan when he was the DC at LSU.
After the first two, take a look at Hoke, Holtz, Gundy, Marrone, etc.

NE is actually having as good, if not better, recruiting year than LSU right now.
Just do not have as many "commits". THe average scout stars for NE was higher than LSU.
NE is not known for incredible home grown talent either.
