Bobby Petrino aims for the type of offense that merges the a spread passing attack with the ability to power run.
I think Les Miles is aiming for this as well, but his markmanship needs work.

If you wanted an offense like this, you could probably get his brother for a hefty raise. He's making about $500k as Illinois's OC I think, so it might cost you close to a mill but it could be worth it.
Why doesn't Bobby just hire him? It worked for Bob Stoops on defense.

He was with Bobby for a while. He was with him his first two years at Arkansas, he just went to Illinois this past season. He went there to get out of his brother's shadow and to call the plays himself.

TT Offense under Leach would get blown up in the SEC
Just like Urban Meyer's offense would never work in the SEC.
And also, you have no way of knowing that since you've never seen Leach run his offense with top notch recruits.

Leach is a smart guy and would put together a successful dynamic offense with the elite recruits LSU has been bringing in every year.

A staff of The Hat, The Chief, and The Pirate would be pretty entertaining also.

Just like Georgia was going to destroy West Virginia in the 2006 Sugar Bowl. That silly spread offense scored 28 before Georgia sniffed the endzone.
Or maybe Bama looking like they were wearing 50 pound cleats versus Utah a few years back.
Bottom line, anything we run at LSU can be successful with proper coaching. Again, I could care less what the shite we run as long as we score points.

This would be interesting. You think he'd run more vertical routes, or just let the better WRs tear up the YAC?

Hmm...I don't know. Good question. I'm guessing it depends on the QB. With Jefferson, probably not. With a guy like Mett, maybe lots more vertical.
But, it'd be nice to see Shep get the ball in space a few times a game. Of course, he would have to be able to catch the ball to do that, but still lol.

As long as we don't run the read option and that damn toss dive shite I'll be ok.

The read option worked pretty well this year.

Wish they would let shep run it instead of Jefferson

Thank you!!!! It isn't the "CONSISTENT" offense to win titles.

It will work with the right QB.
There aren't too many Tebow's and Newton's though.
Thank you!!!
