Will the fans demand a new DC before then??????

Hopefully, Les does what is best for the program and not what the fans demand. Most fans have as much business discussing football as they do nuclear physics.

I think most fans knew retaining Tepper was a mistake.

Philter, it's funny how that post was from 2005. Someone should go back and tell them that they will get blown out in the BCS Championship game for 2006 and 2007. Their new DB coach was unable to stop both Florida and LSU.

Nice. Good, tough-looking dude, too (and young).

Time spent working under Saban, under Crennell--good pedigree. Also makes sense if the, "no coaching changes until after the bowl" rumors are true (NFL reg season ends Dec 28).

Got this extended Q&A with Coach Tucker from earlier this year. LINK

Love this Q and A in particular:

quote:

Q: What do you want your defense to be known for?

A: I want people to say those guys play hard, play with technique and fundamentals, they don't make mistakes, and they play as a unit.

What a refreshing change that would be, eh?
