You go with the company who didn't have to abdicate the cell phone market to Microsoft.

Herman is waiting till Friday to see if the A&M job opens up after they lose Thursday. Per my sources, things will play out after that

I can confirm. Michelle was seen looking at homes in Brazos County. My source says Herman is being offered 8 million a year along with partial ownership of some oil fields.

I hope not.

I don't think Gundy is an "elite" caliber coach, but he could win a lot of games at A&M and cause a lot of problems for LSU, especially if Chief sticks around.

I don't know if the A&M boosters have the patience for Gundy to implement his system.

It took him 4 years to reach the 9-win mark, 6 years to reach the 11-win mark, and 7 years to win a conference title.

Plus he's only 2 years younger than Sumlin.

Lol A&M is a nice job, but not a big boy job, doesn't really have the elite status.

I guess it's possible, but I just don't see it... A&M isn't on the level of LSU and Texas IMO. Very close, but a notch below.

And from what we've heard about Herman and his wife being socialites, I find it very unlikely they'd choose College Station over Austin and Baton Rouge/Nola.

And would A&M even want to go right back to the Houston well? Seems too soon.

Why choose A&M over LSU? It's the same division but worse talent.

No one gives a shite about your second rate football program, dude. You will not be hiring Herman. Bank on that. Texas would get him long before A&M did.

Why would a coach not want the A&M job. A&M is in a better conference and is now receiving better texas recruits than UT.

Aggy is scared shitless. They don't know whether to poop or go blind. Expect season ticket sales in College Station to plummet even more than they did this season, and more donors defaulting on their pledges toward the Kyle Field expansion. The maroon Manziel jerseys will go back in the closet, right next to their blow-up sheep dolls.

Texas has its problems, but it's still a better situation than A&M.

Herman isn't going to a program that can't win a title and is on the same level as Houston. It's Texas or LSU.

Texas is historically a much better school, and it has just about most money of any university out there.

Also, living in Austin vs. living in College Station? No contest.

Not really. Texas has recruited as well or better in the last two recruiting cycles than A&M

2015 247Sports Rankings: 10. Texas, 11. Texas A&M

2016 247 Rankings: 7. Texas, 18. Texas A&M
