The only time I remember this half way working was with Dabo at Clemson. Maybe Vennables can figure it out? Never been a fan of co-coordinators though

Litrell is Def legit.

Seems like he will be the one calling plays anyway.

There’s no such thing as co-coordinators.

There’s a coordinator. And then there’s another guy with a similar title that he’s given just for salary and resume reasons.

One of those two is the actual OC.

Exactly. Seth is the defacto OC. Our 5* QB and incoming 5* TE are really liking this change by their comments.

Seth has been on staff all year as an offensive analyst. He knows the team and players. He will have all the good game film from every game to have taken notes. He knows our recruting needs. He knows our gameplans. He knows the incomimg commits and recruiting offers.

He provides the best continuity headed to SEC play. As a prior HC he knows how to manage the game and clock and lots more, so that helps BV on that side of ball so he can focus more on D. Brent brought him in a year ago for just such an occasion - he knew Jeff was going to leave soon for a HC job.

Really excited to have him in place. He will OC the bowl game too. And we don’t lose time or traction with NSD comimg plus hitting the road for recruiting.

OU has had co-OCs multiple times in the past decade

TCU had an awesome offense for a couple of years with Meacham and Cumbie.

I love when people say this stuff. What else are they going to say?

OU fans can rejoice because according to them, they just got rid of their problem and worst OC in the country and have massively upgraded.

Littrell is legit. He was the guy State should have hired as OC after Leach passed. Instead Arnett decided to change the offense and couldn't even survive a year as HC. Not that it would have mattered much because Littrell would have gotten a bigger OC job in a year anyway
