ok we're national champs and have to rebuild the defense

Do we really want to hire from within with Tenuta out there. I have no doubt that Mallory or Peveto would do a good job but its John Tenuta. That dudes defenses are sick. JMHO

Maybe Les wants Tenuta but Tenuta wants some of his guys to be position coaches. Les may not wanna get rid of the guys he already has.

I do not want peveto to be dc. his special teams play really sucked this year. with the weapons we have we should have had many punt and kicks returned for td's or great yardage. plus our special teams play when kicking or punting to the other teams was bad until we started putting guys like hester and company on the coverage teams. peveto does not deserve to be our dc

you can't say that he doesn't "deserve" it. our head coach and players will determine who deserves what.

no way tenuta is really demanding he bring in his own position coaches. I think the hold up may be Les doesn't want to have to teach the guys a new system only to have tenuta gone after a year or 2

we can give the job to the coaches on the present staff that helped us win a nc or we can hire tenuta from a staff that got fire because they did not win enough

We do not have to "rebuild" our D. It will be bet next year with no injuries.

I have slight concerns with the CBs, but coleman's play monday made me feel real good with coleman/jones at safties. The D line will be sick again, how can you not be excited about a full season of RJF?
If beckwith and Tyson stay I'm not 2 worried.
I've also quit wondering about the DC. I have faith in les to make the right hire.
