Michigan does contact Miles. What do you think honestly Les will do?

Me personally with the current situation going on at Michigan if there was 1 guy that they feel would put Michigan back on the map as an elite National Program, I think Les is their guy.

I like Les and everything but right now in my opinion is the best and possibly the only opportunity for him to go to Michigan.

If I were Les, I'd be gone. You don't pass up your dream job twice.

As a fan, I want him to stay. For one more season.

How if you were Les would you be gone?

That was Les's dream job.........until they hired Rich Rod who recruited an offense for the spread and a defense that MSU scored 52 on........

Where as he is getting 3.9 million here to coach probably his most talented freshman class he has ever had, is more stable by the end of this year then 95% of his peers, and just needs a qb and an OC to compete for national titles?

If the money is right, I think he would take it. He loves LSU, but the chance to be the coach of your school, and the chance to get that program back to the top, will be hard to overcome. Plus, he will be welcomed with open arms there.

What will he do?

He will listen. Past that, who knows. I don't think Miles is going anywhere, but he would be discourteous to his alma mater to not at least listen politely.

Exactly, you have to listen. Right now he may be looking at a bright future but in the future he may be the one looking for his next gig. You never know and you don't burn bridges.

I suspect Michigan's next coach is a done deal.
Who it is is the question.

Which coaches have yet to finish their season?

Personally...I believe that if Michigan has not named a coach by Saturday..Miles is gone. They cannot wait a long time due to recruiting. Also Hoke doesnt have the experience and stability Miles would bring. He would be crazy not to listen if they call but I believe he stays at LSU. If not theres always Saban..( this is joke!)

First, remember that by most of our standards, Les is a very rich man. So, from a economic point of view, he and his family are well fixed, probably for life. As most of you realize, once someone like LM is financially set, that makes for a very confident and secure person.

Second, except for the loose product we see on the field. Les is very level headed when it comes to his personal and professional life. In his case, his actions definitely say more about him than his words.

Third, on Bo's death bed, he told Les to make LSU his Michigan.

At 57, he may want to take on one more challenge money cannot buy...rebuilding Michigan back into the house that Bo built.

We will know by the end of this weekend.
