Vince and Colt didn't need an OC to make great plays. It takes a true OC to teach a project QB like GG. And Davis isn't running the correct offense, and refuses to change it. It was just time for a new face I think.

There were changes to the defense also. And this may not be the end of the changes.
Recruits can see instability and react different ways.
I'm sure some lsu recruits have been uneasy about possible moves or, vice versa, worried about nothing changing.
