Part of the problem at LSU for many years is alot of great recruiters, not enough guys who could coach worth a damn.
It's been a decade of shite at OC... nice to finally have a legit one.

Believable. Since it was known that LSU was making a move for him, any other seriously interested schools probably tried to at least convince him to not jump on LSU's offer right away. This was a very good hire for LSU and a very good move for Canada too.

Canada will be staying and coaching pitt in the bowl game. Narduzzi joust realeased a statement. “On behalf of our entire program, I want to thank Matt for his many important contributions, on and off the field, this past year,” Narduzzi said. “It was important that Matt remain with our team through the bowl game and he had no hesitation about that. He wants to send this team, and especially our seniors, out the right way. Our search for a new offensive coordinator will fully begin after the bowl. Our primary focus is on a successful completion to the 2016 season.

Nice...I guess. Could've been much worse. Not a huge fan of the hire but I don't think he's terrible. Just seems like with the money LSU is offering they could've got a homerun bigger name. I don't think this guy is going to do much for recruits at least now and we have no recruiting momentum.
