as an OL coach? as a HC then no. He has no offensive creativity that would warrant a P5 good team calling.

The more O wins the more Miles will be exposed for the crappy coach he was.

Look where Stanford is at now. The Washington was proof enough that you score more than enough points on Stanford, they have a hard time fighting back. That's also not mentioning that Oregon and the rest of the PAC-12 has been on a slide. Washington and Utah's high powered offense are the model for the future of the league

he is/will be a great recruiter

Will he? How well did he recruit at Oklahoma St? LSU made Les Miles, and he would be average at best at all but maybe 2 or 3 other places.

None of those schools would hire Les Miles. For the last few years he has had an all time great running back and a bevy of highly rated receivers and he had trouble crossing midfield with them.

Les Miles is done. It's over.

Lower because I think there is a 0% chance of USC or Texas.

Notre Dame might think about interviewing him.

Penn St doesnt deserve him

I think that people that post stuff like this are either willfully ignorant or just plain stupid.

So you must be one of those...which is it?

If still active, the man would be #18 in terms of winning percentage among active coaches, based on his 15+ years as a HC. He'd be #14 based on # of wins. He's #69 ALL-TIME in wins in college with with 142.

Only LSU fans think this guy is a bad football coach. Did it get old with him here? Yes. The man will get interviews.

Tulane, and he brings coach O.

I would like to see Les, Coach O and Art Briles as OC at Tulane.

Frankly, I think the Odds of him landing at Penn St. and Notre Dame are high. Both schools will prioritize hiring a high character guy. Brian Kelley has been an embarrassment and we all know the PSU story. Miles has also proven that he can win at a program with resources like that of ND and PSU. His players graduate which is important to both those schools. Finally, I don't think the pressure to win at these schools is on par with the SEC. If Miles had started at Notre Dame or Penn St. in '05 and did exactly what he did at LSU, he'd have statue outside of their stadiums by now. Definitely wouldn't be looking for a job.

I agree. And he plays the style of football that those programs covet.

Maybe Purdue, no major program will touch Miles

Yall are just wrong. Things got stale at LSU, I get that.

But most major programs are willing to make a bet that he's a clean slate/change of scenery away from putting together contender teams like he did most of his time at LSU. He's a much surer bet than an up and comer, even if his ceiling in recent years does give you pause.

If Auburn were looking for a coach, I would want him to get a serious interview.

Notre Dame is not firing a coach just to hire another one that the previously fired coach beat in a bowl game.
