What does that even mean - "political realities"?

People (SJWs) are going to lose their shite if we straight up hire Briles as OC in 2017.

frick I swear to God some of you are like that little sad donkey in Winnie the Pooh - "Eeyore" - who had a black rain cloud hovering over him wherever he went.

That's not me, baw. I'm a certified, 100% positiger.

he specifically is quoted as saying Ensminger would NOT be the permanent OC, and that he would hire a premium OC.

So, you'd rather Kendall Briles as OC, with Ensminger as shadow staff, than Ensminger as OC and Art as shadow staff?

Good to know...

(Honestly, I'd rather us hire Sark than Kiffin - if those are my choices, and Art Briles over either. I think we can win with a 100% Ensminger offense, just based on what I saw down the stretch - but Ensminger is definitely not a spread coach, at least he has not implemented and called anything like a spread, outside of some packages.)

I like Canada better than Kiffin or Sark. Probably more politically feasible, too.

But, never coached or recruited the south.

Fair enough.

75% of his coaching experience has been college ball in Indiana and Illinois. He has no stops at an NFL team or on an SEC school.

That doesn't concern you in the slightest?

(Aranda had little experience in the South and none in the SEC or NFL either, and that's working out for us so far. But offense is different, and everyone should be cognizant of that.)
