Coach O turned around a season that was Belk Bowl Bound and has the potential to take us to a NY6 bowl game. LSU hasn't played in a significant bowl in 5 years.

LSU offense has set a record in 4 of 5 games.

Once season is over, LSU's performance against Bama will prove to be their toughest test. No one else in country will be within 3 scores of Bama, including the playoff.

Coach O is a born recruiter, which is why 100% of Miles' fans wanted to keep him; however, I believe that O will recruit the RIGHT personnel for what our coaches and scheme are set-up for. This was a huge issue with previous HC, IMO.

Oh, and he is on track to finish the year 6-1 or 7-1. LSU would be #2 in country RIGHT NOW if Coach O was the HC in Lambeau and against Auburn.

I'm not in the "keep O" camp

I think O could be enticed to stay for less than 3 mil with performance incentives, if allowed to go for a top notch OC and keep Aranda.

To be honest, you could probably keep O with less than 2.5. He'd do it at the minimum allowable offer.

I just don't think we made the move to get a cheap coach, we made it to get the best we could.

This implies his record, which is very good, isn't enough yet you are ready to give the job over to the DL coach and hope he gets the best O coordinator. Makes a lot of sense.....

Well since Saban was a DB coach, he'll never be any good or win championships.....

Very flawed. I keep seeing people say that as if every coach didn't start out as a position coach. That does not help your cause to chase another glorified name that was once...a position coach.

This. What top schools have gone cheap and made the playoffs lately?

You have no idea if this is true or not. Coach O didn't put this team and staff together, which is precisely why they are playing well now. Aranda. You think Aranda would've come to work for O last year?

If LSU bases their decision on cost savings, then we lost before we ever start. that point defies logic since LSU already pays a premium for assistant coaches.

While i can see you made it through basic math, it is very evident you have never made a business decision.
