It wasn’t just the record that got O canned. He was named in the Title 9 suit this summer. That had as much, if not more to do with it than anything else. His bs off the field is likely what caused the bs on the field.
CBK will not personally have the off field issues O did, so he already has a few passes before he starts. THAT is why he will make it through a subpar season or two should it happen.

After going 10-2 the year before. They had a cake schedule and could only win 4 games. Media thought he would be fired. Imagine Ed O going 4-8 this year but on!y playing Vanderbilt and Kentucky and Florida and Auburn and then the service Academies and Akron and Tulsa, Syracuse and Georgia Tech.
