Maybe Marcus Freeman with so much leverage told O and Woody he wanted to build his own staff of the positions we have currently have vacant on the staff.

To me, I would think that UT would be a better job at the moment with a coach who was just hired compared to a coach feeling some pressure and looking for a new d coordinator.

Bo wanted to respect what Russ Callaway has earned and bowed out. No d line coach next year. 8 offensive coaches.

Agree with this. Especially with the investigation that are going on. No way we come out with out some type of sanctions

I'm not sure why you're so sarcastic about Callaway. He's been at LSU almost a full year. At some point you have to start rewarding guys who paid their dues and put in the time.

Some insiders say the SEC wouldn't approve Bo Davis for a coaching job in the conference. Allegedly Bama was interested and they told them no as well.

Davis was Sagan’s bag man, took fall and got banned for year. Trying to come back Saban knows Bo knows where bodies are buried and since Saban rules the SEC he told them to block the hire. They did as they were told. So now Bo going to B12

Unless Freeman has all that in writing and signed on the line you’re not telling another coach to go look else where. SEC or Compliance didn’t let him come here.

My BIL has known Bo for a long time. He got a txt from Bo a few days before Christmas, "LSU needs to come up with more $$"

As much as I want Davis and it has been long enough for what he was fired for (NCAA violation), LSU better tread carefully - don't need to give NCAA any more ammo.
Interesting that two of the players Davis got in trouble for were Marvin Wilson and Jhamon Ausbon, two that LSU was in on.
If Davis does come back to college I'd rather him in Texas than back at Bama or another SEC west opponent

Would be kinda funny if Locouture(sp?) gets promoted to DL coach and Russ not.
