I think the list is this:

Riley
Dabo
Jimbo

Those 3 get phone calls not expecting them to jump but still have to try (wont even get reported if they all say No on the phone)

Then the realistic Tier 2:

Kiffin
Franklin
Fickell
Cristobal
Napier
Stoops (Mark)

Our next head coach will be one of those guys above.

Im good with Riley as he is young and full of talent, and Jimbo might have a few good years left. I actually don't want Dabo, he is basically Ed O in a easier conference and he hit the jack pot getting a DC that would never leave. Dabo can't scheme either side of the ball, while Riely and Jimbo both have offense on lock down.

The Melt from Clemson if they lose Dabo would be funny though.

Franklin I would have to be sold on on the next tier list. I like all the others better than him

good news is the squeaky clean stuff might be bullshite if we actually paid O all his buy out to go and we aren't scape goating using title ix to reduce it. If title ix was in play Franklin could easily be sunk by his Vandy rape scandal

Won’t have to. He may pay us if we help him get out of college station.

Riley: can’t handle SEC pressure
Dabo: ain’t shite without coordinators
Jimbo: hasn’t done anything in 7 years
Kiffin: walking PR disaster who can’t coach
Franklin: see above
Fickell: maybe
Cristobal: maybe
Napier: lol gtfo
Stoops (Mark): built a damn solid, stable program; he’s their version of Mike Gundy and he ain’t leaving

Wasn’t O”Brian’s name mentioned? He’s got the track record. Disciplined coach and imo was solid as Texans HC until he took GM role on too. He likes complete control and that’s why some thing he’s better suited for a college job. Wked under bellichek & Saban. What he did w the cloud around penn st doesn’t get enough credit. I say lane obrian and Napier. I know Napier isn’t Scott’s “HR” hire but dig into his stats and overall he’s been good everywhere. Former qb.. turned ull around. Good recruiter. I just think Napier would
Be more like the young off minds that many nfl and college programs are going with. I’d rather Napier than Franklin. Ppl may scoff at thst but young intelligent qb guru. Successful as Offensive a coordinator and turned 4-8 ull teams around quickly

I don’t think Dabo would leave Clemson for anyone except MAYBE to replace Saban when he retires at Bama. He basically is Clemson football at this point. His kids go to school there right now. I don’t think he is going to leave what he has built there over the last decade for a job at LSU

I said they would get phone calls. I never said they would be hired

Woodward is 100% going to call coaches even if we perceive as fans as only having a 1% chance.

Gotta love the CCB; second post I read and Dabo’s not good enough but Kiffin is.

You could literally say the same thing about Dabo being Orgeron, about Jimbo at FSU

Jimbo won an NC at a program in an easier conference due to having lucky generational talent in Winston, then proceeded to tank that program until he was no longer wanted. Sounds awful familiar doesn't it? Kinda like the guy you just fired...

Dabo and Jimbo suck!
The fact that Jimbo was able to parlay LSU interest into Woodward’s giving Jimbo too much money and time is disconcerting.

However Jimbo replacing Miles as originally planned would have been fantastic.
