Was hoping this was about LSU. Taggart's working on putting together one heck of a staff.

Does Sam Pittman have a non-compete at UGA? I know Saban tried to hire him previously.

I agree, just surprised he'd leave Tuscaloosa for Eugene.

eh cristobal is a hell of a recruiter but a very meh coach, pretty sure Key and the old OL coach do the bulk of coaching

Losing Cristobal and Lupoi would be big hits to their recruiting staff. And Pruitt is not the recruiter that Kirby is.

I'm sure they'll still get #1 classes every year, but maybe it'll be a more realistic #1

I don't think he will. He may take a job elsewhere, but Oregon would be a surprise.

I'm sure Saban will make sure that Bama's offer is for as much or more money than any other offer. It'll come down to coaching responsibilities, whether or not the job is actually a promotion, and if Mario is ready to leave. Sometimes it's just time.

Oregon can load the staff with as many "recruiters" as they want. They're still Oregon.

Hey, I don't know who Lupoi & Christobal are recruiting or have already committed but I'd be in there ear like white on rice. Just like those frickers would be doing to us. You never know, it can't hurt. Position coach leaving ?

This. He may have south Florida connections, but it will be hard for him to pull the upper crust of guys from south Florida to Oregon

I like how you phrased that...

Like now it's 1+++, which could be reduced to 1+ or just #1.

I agree.

This appears to be a wrap.

I guess it's not over until he signs on the dotted line.

I guess it's a good thing if he goes to Oregon because he won't pull kids from SFL to Oregon like he does at Alabama.
