Great offensive mind like that would be great as a QB mentor or passing game coordinator. Probably comes cheap since he's working off his Cal contract and it's probably too late to get another head coaching gig for 2017.

Agreed. He brought in roster of jucos, had one really good year and didn't recruit during that season and left the roster basically with nothing outside of Dixon. It's kind of amazing how quickly Holtz cleaned up the mess Dykes left.
