But they are going to pay 6 million for O and OC combined. That salary is good enough for a Offensive HC and his namesake assistant for OC.

Jimbo was ghastly expensive and perhaps satisfied at FSU. Herman was always going to be a target for Texas. We knew this two months ago. Alleva must've known it. I suppose O was a safe backup bc of his immense popular support, and guys like Fleck, Fedora, and Fuente just aren't known enough to take a chance on. People would be pissed if LSU hired any of them over O.

Who? All we ever read about are the people knocking down our doors to coach at LSU. I didn't see this huge outcry from all of these coaches today cause they didn't get an interview. The fact is, LSU is only a dream job for a couple of people. One wanted a lot of money and the othee didn't. I didn't like the Miles hire and I'm not overly excited about Coach O either but I don't pay any salaries. Your 5 dollar Walmart shirt isn't paying any either so unfortunately we get no say. Just stop all the fricking crying and get behind the team or go buy yourself some Bama shite.

I don't think that's a great excuse. I know the football program has a lot of expenses but it also brings in over a hundred million a year. Can't imagine a million or two makes or breaks them.
