OU gave him his first head coaching opportunity.

OU was two winnable games away from the CFP.
OU’s team is full of players recruited by Riley and are expected by Riley to be loyal and lay it on the line every week.

I'm not happy at all about how it's shaping up, but I think we can all agree on this. If you're too scared to play in the SEC you wouldn't have succeeded anyway.

If he would've taken the job at Florida, would've never said it. The fact is he didn't want LSU and bailed on OU because he wants nothing to do with the SEC. He had already said he wasn't happy with OU joining the conference.

I posted a while back that Riley was a pussy that couldn’t handle the LSU job.

If he does end up at USC it probably won’t be for money. CA taxes will be brutal on him. It’s more likely the looming move to the SEC. Easier path to the Playoffs in the PAC. Unfortunately he will be in the same place once he’s in the PO since the probability of facing an SEC is pretty high.
