Either way, he's still under his original contract......which was SIGNED. He can leave at any time regardless......so why keep freaking out?

I'm not in the "freak out because Aranda hasn't signed his extension yet" camp per se, but signing his extension = more money = more buyout which would make it harder to lure him away and pay for. Also you have to consider the fact that signing an extension with one team and then turning around and bolting for another would be a VERY bad look professionally for a young and up and coming guy like Aranda.

Bunch of crybabies, didn't get the coach they wanted (neither did I) So it's all about tearing down the coach that did get hired. Temper tantrums are a terrible thing to waste.

Until the board approves it, there's nothing to sign.

What kind of false reassurances are you looking for, honestly? These coaches aren't slaves. They can leave anytime, contract or not. So if you are going to be cynical to the extreme, then you need to keep worrying even when the contract is signed.

Oh give me an effing break

Had Bama hired a position coach with a losing HC record, youd be laughing until you pissed yourself. And tearing down that hire with every post you make!

Just because Joke Alleva pulled that stunt, doesn't mean LSU fans have to grin and bear it!!

So the board is going to approve contracts with no signatures on it?

I think that the board has to approve the contract in advance, prior to its signing. But regardless, if Aranda or any other coach wants to leave, they will, regardless of a contract.

So anyone fretting over this know, needs to keep on even after the contract is signed.

What? It's stupid to assume that everyone is waiting on board approval. It's common sense to assume that aranda wouldn't take that chance and miss other opportunities should they not approve. How is that hard to understand?

What don't you understand? We offered And he accepted. Is there ANYTHING besides bull shite on this board that would lead anyone to believe he is unhappy and leaving? Half the people on the rant are just trolling are worst, just negative fu%#%^* assh#\**]€ and looking for anything possible or impossible to bitch about. No one knows what goes on with any of these negotiations yet everyone acts like they are god damn Jerry Maguire the last 2 week

You are an asshat. It's not hard to sign the amendment. Not looking for anything to bitch about it's just common sense. He's weighing his options as he should. Get your head out of your arse.

He's already under contract. If you are worried now, then you should continue to worry after the contract is signed.

You don't get it. Common sense says the deal is done. People reaching for negative shite just because they are little panicky bitches are the ones that lack common sense.

I'm not being silly. I'm saying any coach can leave at anytime. These contracts don't hold anyone. If you're worried about him leaving, the contract won't change anything.

Anyone waiting on this contract to be signed so they can breathe a sigh of relief is being silly.
