I live in Oklahoma and I've been hearing some whispers that if Bob loses to UT today, they will "evaluate" him. Might just be booster talk.

But is OU that arrogant that they would fire a coach that brought them to the playoff the year before?

That program is a shell of itself in terms of resources etc.

Seems like he's run his course there tbh. I think he's a good coach just needs a change of scenery

No, According to this board he'd be a terrible hire.

I believe that LSU plane which was seen in Normand was actually performing a "Miles drop". Good luck OU!

Just thinking about this. OU fires Stoops, hires Herman.

Is there any information that LSU is actually putting Herman at the top of the list? It's Orgerons to lose IMO.

After that, I have no idea what the administration will do.

OU is Ole Miss in terms of recruiting base and resources. They are lucking to have him.

I would hope it's Orgeron's to gain consideration for. Not in favor of just turning over the keys.

I'd be thrilled with stoops as long as he ditches his brother.

I think he is kinda Miles was last year. Too much success to truly be on the hot seat but underperforming based on fan expectations.

No way he comes close to being fired. I live in OKC, and have not heard that, other than fans calling into the sports animal, and "the boz" interview. They just went to the playoffs last year, and have a great recruiting class coming in, so he's safe. I do think he's become complacent at OU, and I could see him leaving on his own, but that's highly unlikely as well. Who knows, if LSU I serious about getting him, this could be the perfect time (I hope not).
