Yeah we'll probably suck with a top 5 CFB coach and one of if not the top QB Developer in the country. We should just shut our program down to save face

I disagree that he's a top 5 coach and I don't know about his QB development to argue that. Regardless, I never said LSU would suck. I did say, however, that expecting Jimbo to walk in and be more successful than Miles (while Saban is still in town, especially) is silly. Feel however you want about it.

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Les has been great for us, but we've had the same issues and the same losses for 3-5 years now with the same excuses and the same type of remedy to fix it every offseason but it stays the same

We needed a change, and the time is now.

4 straight QBs that have been under his tutelage went in the NFLs first round including a RS freshmen heisman winner

So in the same sentence you write you disagree with Fisher's coaching rank but also admit to not being aware of his greatest strength as a coach.

You can't make shite like that up.

Yes, because the ability to coach QBs is directly correlated to head coaching success.

Alright. I don't even know why I'm posting about this. I couldn't give less of a shite. Getting rid of Miles is stupid. That's all.

I was confused by the "4 straight" wording. Also, to clarify, I shouldn't have said correlate. Obviously you're going to be successful with good QBs. Miles has had phenomenal defenses at LSU, though. That's where LSU sustains success.

The news says all these things you're posting as fact are lies and that miles never said he was gone.

This seems a bit irresponsible.

Jimbo has had extremely successful defenses as FSU as well.

FSU has had a better defense than LSU in the past 3 out of 4 years.

Conference is irrelevant. Their defense has been better, period.

Defense at LSU was dog shite in 2013, under whelming in 2012 and this season and pretty good after a few games last year

They've had a couple of elite years and some good defenses mixed in with it. He doesn't ignore defense

You're only argument is SECC HUR DUR. And it's sad.

Yeah, just ask The Citadel, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, Georgia S. or Toledo.

The title of this topic is a lie. Les Miles never made such a comment and I challenge anyone to show a direct quote where he does.

I'm kind of amazed that these irresponsible, libelous posts aren't whacked.even more amazed at how low Nola.com will go for clicks.
