From the @LSUfball account (verified / official account)

quote:

Contrary to media reports, #LSU coach Les Miles has not resigned nor did he indicate he was resigning when speaking to booster group today.

Better be careful of the next step. It's going to be hard to get a better coach, and nearly impossible to get a better human being.

Yeah, some of the decisions made during a game leaves you wondering, but Miles is loved by his athletes, and recruits like a madman.

Good luck, Alleva. You're gonna need it.

Les isn't going anywhere... he just meant this is his last Saturday game and he is right since LSU will play a bowl game in the middle of the week

Its clock management, then the coordinators, then stone age playcalling, then, not developing QB's...How long do you settle for Les? #LSU

This entire thing is beyond dumb and handled completely inappropriately.

The same one that LSU fans apparently have. Jimbo is in the ACC with access to some of the best talent in the country at a school that recruits itself. This year, he has regressed. If this same LSU team had played their schedule thus far, the record would be better (or at least the same). Getting rid of Miles for Jimbo seems stupid to me.

My sources say that O will be interim HC for the bowl game.

Yeah, just one of the most successful coaches of all time. And his replacement that everyone seems excited about is a guy who couldn't even consistently keep FSU good?

What? He's been 67-13 since 2010. I'd call that consistently good.

How? Miles has lost as many games this month that Jimbo has in 3 years

quote:

This year he has regressed

Most teams regress whenever they lose a heisman winning QB and a ton of 1st round talent on both sides of the ball.

Seems like dumb to me

You're free to have that opinion, just don't throw around stupid shite like Jimbo hasn't been consistently good whenever he's lost 3 games in 3 years and won a national title and gone to the CFB playoff 2/3 years since it started

Miles hasn't been to a BCS bowl since 2011. That doesn't cut it when you're making top 5 money and bringing in top 5 classes every season.

If you're counting the Bowden days, he has a slightly better winning % than Miles has had at LSU. Slightly better, despite being at a talent rich environment that recruits itself in a weak conference.

The SEC has been very winnable the past 4 years. The SEC chest banging is over. It's not the murderers row it used to be

Well, good luck having more success (until Saban is gone) than Miles had. It isn't going to happen.

Yeah we'll probably suck with a top 5 CFB coach and one of if not the top QB Developer in the country. We should just shut our program down to save face

LSU is going to regret running him off so bad.
