Larry Fedora to Mizzou?

I think that would be a nice get for Mizzou. Just hearing a small rumor that this could happen.

Why leave UNC for Mizzou?
That's a lateral move at best with worse weather and recruiting area.

Not sure what everyone's fascination with Fedora is. He lost to SC, and 2 of his 9 wins are to FCS schools. He has done a decent job with UNC, but they play in a really, really terrible division.

UNC can also afford to bump that pay and will have to if they want to keep him.
And why wouldn't they? He's getting Butch Davis (or better) type results without the stigma of Butch Davis or the shitty offense of John Shoop.
They'll pay to keep him.

Fedora by himself is vanilla, but if he brought Chiz too, that would be a good deal for a lot of schools looking for a HC.

What does Mizzou offer that he can't negotiate for at UNC?
Better fan support is the only thing I can think of. Mizzou does bring in more money per year but the UNC Bball program shits money so they will have no problems investing/reinvesting in a football staff they find to be good.
Yeah, the ACC sucks but its going to be much easier long term for Fedora to win in his shitty ACC division than it will be in the SEC East, especially with Florida back from the dead.

Sure he's got an easy road at UNC but they've won 9 straight games, have only one loss and aren't even in the top 10 because the competition in the ACC is so pathetic. Even if they win out and beat Clemson it would be a discussion on whether they get into the CFP, not a given
