Not a fight, I believe, even gets fought. I would guess Alleva runs away rather than getting beaten.

Kiffin may want to come to LSU, but then again, Bobby Ross wanted to coach at Duke only to find his agent and Joe Alleva couldn't come to terms. Alleva managed to convince Ted Roof to allow himself to be promoted to head coach. What a tough negotiator he is.

Since Kiffin may be too big a fish to land with our Snoopy rod athletic director, I think we should look hard at Chip Lindsey at Arizona State.

He has experience in MS, AL, and GA, which would be great for recruiting and is an excellent OC.

You can be mad at Joe for a lot of things, but losing Kiffin to a head coaching job isn't one of them.

Yea, I don't believe this is a fight, period, for anyone to "win."

Kiffin will get a head coaching job, or he won't.

Not sure what your point is. Maybe it sounded better in your head.

It will be in Allevas best interest to pass on Kiffin regardless. The man has a graveyard of skeletons.

I am 1000% sure we should pass on Kiffin. His offense is fine at Bama but we don't have the personnel to do it right now and honestly it's something Saban will shut down. Kiffin's offense is too sideline to sideline. You have to attack a defense like Bama and Kiffin isn't the guy to do that.

I don't know much about Tee as an OC, but I know he can croot.

Moscona tends to believe he's an option for Bama.

You better have a AD that can negotiate with Sexton if you want one of his clients

Is this true? With the way he handled the Duke Lacrosse fiasco, Miles' "Farewell Tour," how is this guy still an AD? Hiring David Cutcliff is the LONE bright spot on his resume.

Think about it. He never hired Coach K, Alleva hired three football coaches in his 11 years: Carl Franks, Ted Roof, and David Cutcliffe. Franks' record in his five years was 7–45, including two 0–11 seasons. Roof went 6–45.

You give sexton a lot of credit. However, he has ruined the career's of tommy tubberville, Houston Nutt, Will Muschamp etc.

If Kiffin does not get a HC job, sexton doesn't have much leverage unless a Bama offer is on the table.
