But this hire doesn't screw us.

I did not want Fisher in the least.

Herman had potential, but wasn't a guarantee either.

But both of those would have cost us a ton of money and locked us into STUPID contracts.

The potential for them to continue to be average is more likely than Championship coaches.

I promise you, there are plenty of up and coming coaches that will be just as hot down the road.

This is CEO's dream job. He isn't looking to make a jump anywhere! He won't require us to lock him into some crazy long contract that we will regret (ALWAYS DO).

We were never going to win a bidding war with Texas, ever.

hELL neaux, one of the worst of several bad hires at LSU. It's enough to make me want to just move back to Montana and pull for the Grizzlies once again.

I'm happy. I was also happy Trump won. Go melt with the pussies protesting wherever they are today. I think they have room in their safe space

If he falls flat, lsu can make a move at any time. It does seem kind of open ended.

If he keeps Aranda, brings in a top shelf OC, and fires BDP - I guess it won't be a total loss. If he loses Aranda, then its a total bust.

And you trust Joe to make a good move? All his hires have been terrible.

My son is friends with a current player and an up and comer still in high school - they both are excited about Bebe. Really that's all that matters. A bunch of couch potatoes passing judgment doesn't mean squat. They don't have the money or the hard work invested to have their opinion matter. If the current and future players like him and the boosters like him - then he da man. Get it done Bebe.

BDP is a massive failure. Everything about special teams sucks. That is also a huge part of the game (field position)

Coach O + Aranda will be some awesome recruiting. We have the best HS players in the country. I want them here

I bet we lose Aranda to Texas and we promote Peveto right on up to D.C. Doing that makes all the same sense as this hire.

The tail wagging the dog. So what was the deal? Did both JF and TH turn them down?

I'm satisfied. Maybe not happy persay. But I thought O should be given a chance. Bring him in on a 4 year deal with low buyout and see what we can get.

I am happy- Started to get concerned about Herman- his team this year has been inconsistent. UH is one thing, but now the pressure is on him at a major program- you do not lose to a cupcake! Jimbo would have been fine, but does he still have the drive we need to see? O is like a machine, has learned from the past & now will recruit his arse off!
