If you wouldn’t be a fan of this hire you are out of your mind. This man singlehandedly brought our offense from 1990 to 2050. Did he have great players? Absolutely. But those great players were playing in that 1990 offense the year before and didn’t produce. The man is responsible for the most important change to LSU football on that side of the ball. He showed us what could be done with the talent LSU brings in.

This man would be a home run hire. If BK would rather run the offenses he’s ran in Notre dame over the unstoppable offense that Brady ran then LSU is in trouble. I really hope we don’t miss this opportunity. The timing is so perfect that it almost feels like fate.

Half the idiots on the board now think it's a problem he was very successful with a very talented team. Hasn't that always been the problem? We have great skill players but our offense struggles?

He did get fired, right? CBK would have to know the details.

Idk if it will happen but it should. Some tards on here think just because he didn’t shake up the NFL that he won’t replicate what he did here. He was the difference between 2018 and 2019. If E was the brain then 2018 would have been 2019.

Most of these idiots don’t know what they are talking about. He was the scapegoat for terrible management decisions. Last year before Bridhewater got hurt their offense was one of the best in the league. The Panthers have one of the worst offensive lines, terrible QB’s, and their best player was hurt most of the season. Sean Payton is one of the best offensive minds in the world and the Saints offense looks terrible because of injuries. I’m not sure why people would expect Brady to be able to do any better with nothing to work with.

As posted on the rant.

Mikey Joseph on Joe Brady

quote:

Jacques asks him about 3&17 vs UT, and he says when he heard Joe Brady call the play(rather than run & punt & play defense) he knew it was a new era of LSU football.

Joe Brady will bring back an offense that, if even at 65% of 2019, will be incredibly difficult to stop. Just think how multiple he made the TE & RB position. The WRs never dropped the ball either.

Agree 100 percent. Brady would be a home run hire.

Brady is not going to be the next OC at LSU. He is not qualified. No matter what you think his resume SUCKS! Go read it. Thank God our new football coach knows how to hire good coaches.

I’m not saying he wouldn’t be a good hire

But coach E was breaking records when he took over before Brady got to LSU.

I think the combination of E, Brady and Burrow is what made that offense so special

It wasn’t just Brady

Completely agree.
I like an OC that knows what to do with talented players and puts then into positions to shine and go make money in the NFL.

Not important ones like any that spans a season.

Peetz broke records this year.
No one brings that up to defend his shitty offense.

Completely disagree. We need recruiters and Brady has some risk outside of that non-starter because he’s never been good without an all time offensive team.

Don't try to convince these idiots that their wonder boy is a fraud. Coach O can sell ice to eskimos.

Sometimes coaches are great, or the best of the best in college, and fail miserably in the League.

I think some people hate Brady now just because they got tired of hearing Ed talk about him after he left. It’s swung too far, I’d be excited if they bring him back.

You can’t have a good offense in the NFL without a QB or good oline. Panthers have neither and their best player is hurt more often than not.
