Is There a "Saban to Texas" On The Table?

Is there some sort of moonshot hire like Jimbo that is still possible for LSU this year?
Or are all the options Charlie Strongs (ie a guy like Herman)?

I think "better" is debatable for almost any hire. Only time lets you know how it works out.

Dabo coming from Clemson would be about the closest to that. But still not even close to that level. And has about 0% chance. Maybe if Chip Kelly hadn't just taken over the 49ers that would be the long shot?

I don't know where you're getting that from. Jimbo is still a target and possibly the #1 target. He might have the red arse over last year, no one knows, but he still seems to be pretty high on the list.
