If Alleva falls for this a second time then the BOS should fire him right there on the spot.

i would think that the BOS would have to approve that raise

this could work out in les favor. florida and Michigan jobs get filled. who is left that would want the LSU job but didn't want either Michigan or florida? filling those jobs takes away from the job pool and increases the market value of the hc position. will we be able to get someone better than miles? very questionable. will we be able to get someone better at the same price? no way.

he used a bogus Arkansas inquiry

How was it "bogus"? Didn't the Hogs go though channels to talk to Miles and didn't they talk?

LSU is hamstrung with a contract that makes it impossible almost to get rid of him

What LSU rep. in there right mind has any interest in getting rid of the most successful head football coach in LSU history and one still winning 80% of his games since 2011?

Like Miles or not, but the man has keep LSU football on a level of success for a decade that no LSU coach has ever done before.

Forget the nitpicking of the program and look at the big picture...LSU is Top 3 in wins nationally and top 2 in wins in the SEC since 05. LSU hasn't experienced such extended success in 120 yrs of college football.

What LSU football have some of you followed not to note how very special the last 10 yrs have been in the history of LSU football?

Its like you're Lloyd Christmas calling William Wallace stupid.

You're an idiot and show your arse every time you make fun of people who don't think Les is the second coming. It would be different if there were only a few people that disagree with you but you act like you are in some vast majority that supports Miles and that he is the greatest coach of all time.

Keep taking shots and keep showing your arse moron.

He absolutely deserves no raise and has underachieved in his role as coach.

jeff long did his old friend a solid. miles was never a serious candidate at ark, but long was more than happy to make sure his buddy got a raise.

Then they will both be gone.

Jimbo wasn't ready to be a HC in 2005. He's admitted as much.
